The perfect antidote to our yang state lifestyle, Donna’s yin classes aim to calm the nervous system, bringing a sense of balance to both the body and mind. This practise targets the connective tissues, the deepest tissues of the body, with passive long holds of each asana (posture). These classes are thoughtfully curated, often working with the seasons and the associated meridian lines.
Meditation
Meditation is the secret ingredient to living a happy and healthy life. It helps to process feeling and emotions and by playing witness to these it helps to bring about the awareness that we are not our thoughts. Letting go of any attachment allows things that have been troubling us to move through us and we start to recognise the impermanence of it all and sense of perspective is gained.
Yoga Nidra
Donna is extremely passionate about this practice and views it as the ultimate life hack. It helps to recondition the mind, creating new neutral pathways to change patterning and support the positive changes we are seeking to make in our lives. With twenty minutes being the equivalent to two hours sleep it is a deeply restorative practice.

We are rewarded for our achievements and it’s often only when something happens to our bodies that we start to explore the benefits of meditation and slower practices. The activation of the parasympathetic nervous reaps innumerable benefits.
